Michael Powers' Real Estate career began in 1975. Licensed in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, his expertise is in Real Estate Sales, Property Management, Property Development and Property Finance. Michael obtained his CRB (Certified Real Estate Broker) designation from the National Association of Realtors. He opened his first office in 1978 and was an owner broker for over 14 years. During Michael's real estate career has been involved in over 1,650 real estate transactions, as well as preparing appraisals for private lending institutions, tax accountants, Attorneys, and private individuals. His real estate management experience includes residential as well as commercial properties. He has managed the construction of over 37 homes and has taught residential construction at Penn State University. As a member of the local Board of Realtors, Michael chaired several committees including Professional Standards and Strategic Planning. In 2005 Michael has been elected to Vice-President of the Cape May Count Board of Realtors. Recently, Michael has been asked to speak at Re/Max Conventions in Kansas City and New Orleans. Over the past thirty years Michael has dedicated himself to become one of the premier Real Estate Brokers in his profession.
